Roger Salloch is American.
He has published stories, photographs, and poetry in, among other publications, the Paris Review, Ploughshares, Fiction, The North American Review, Works on Paper, L’Atelier du Roman and Sud, an Italian bimonthly in Rome.
Salloch is an occasional guest critic and writer for The Magazine of the Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Last Word, a short fiction film he wrote and directed was produced by Les Films du Lossange. Tropical Disturbance, a play by Salloch was given a workshop production by the Grottesco Company in Santa Fe New Mexico in December 2014.
In September, 2016, Miraggi Edizioni in Turin, Italy translated and published a novel, Along the Railroad Tracks (Una Storia Tedesca). The same novel was translated into French and published in October 2017 by Editions Nadeau in Paris (Une histoire allemande).
Among current projects, Salloch is co-author of a libretto for an opera, Romantica Romantica. As a photographer, Salloch has had exhibitions in New York, Paris, Hamburg, Vologda, Delhi, Zurich, Naples and Turin.
